Whether you need an office space to see client for your next show or a comfortable backdrop for an upcoming event, The Gathering Place has the kind of space you’re looking for.

Recently remodeled to reveal its 1940's character, 5810 features high ceilings, gleaming hardwoods, comfortable furnishings and has ample windows allowing for lots of natural light. Our building is a fantastic place for classes, workshops and community meetings, but it can be used for so much more. We host lectures, community forums, training events, yoga classes, baby showers and even cooking classes!

Our common spaces are flexible enough to accommodate up to 50 people or serve as a location for an intimate meeting. Renters are granted access to our kitchen facilities and are welcome to our inventory of folding tables and chairs (pending availability). Our spacious and inviting lobby is an ideal place to host an elegant seated dinner, unique party or small reception - all with the home-like atmosphere you’ve been looking for!


Located in the Miami Modern (MiMo) Historic District , just north of downtown Miami and the Design Distrct we have plenty of parking available in our private lot.  Your guests will have easy access to neighborhood street parking and some of Miami's most popular restaurants. The building is also easily accessed by several public bus lines.


Prices vary by room needed, time and date. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard or American Express for rental payments. Events are considered booked upon confirmation from our office manager, with receipt of completed rental contract signed by both parties and non-refundable deposit. Deposit is 25% of total bill. Payment in full is due two weeks prior to the event.
